MCGREGOR BOULEVARD CORRIDOR - McGregor Boulevard is the grand dame of Fort Myers roadways having been the winter home of Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford. It stretches 14 miles from Punta Rassa south to downtown Fort Myers lined with majestic royal palms originally planted back in the 1920's. This Boulevard is home to some of the most established and prominent communities including Town and River, Palmetto Point, The Landings, The Palms of McGregor, McGregor Isles, Gulf Harbor and Majestic Palms. Some of these homes offer historic value. Other communities such as Town and River were built mostly in the 1970's and have been meticulously maintained and/or remodeled. Newer communities such as Gulf Harbor offer a private country club and marina. The homes and condominiums start in the mid 200's up to over 5 million.
